Wound Care Specialist Dr. Jim is a Board Certified Wound Care Specialist. With the increase in diabetes in the United States, diabetic foot care and wound care has become an invaluable field in terms of proper treatment protocol. His Bettendorf practice is comprised of a high percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Licandro received extensive wound care training while doing a medical/surgical residency program in the heart of downtown Chicago. It was at the V.A. hospital that he was able to see and treat a wide variety of wound problems that are not commonly seen in the Quad-City area.
